Using LibQual+ data to direct change and assess success
Rickey Best, Dean of the Library, Auburn University – Montgomery Library

The AUM Library first conducted the LibQual+ survey in 2003. During that survey, the library received a number of comments and scores indicating dissatisfaction with the library as a physical place. In late 2003 and early 2004, the library began a project to improve the quality of seating and the appearance of the library. In 2006, the library measured the success of this project by re-doing the LibQual+ survey and saw an improvement in the scores relating to the library as a place.
